Hi, all - I'm a first-year adjunct instructor at a small university in Iowa
(and also new to this list!). I have a student who is a bass clarinet major -
she plays this instrument exclusively. I'm not altogether sure this is a
great idea - what do you all think? Meanwhile, any suggestions for literature
I could be using with her? - both etudes and solos - she'll have to give a
recital eventually. This year we used the Rhoads 18 Selected Studies and 21
Foundation Studies, the Eccles Sonata in G minor, and Vaughan Williams' Six
Studies in English Folksong. Thanks! Susan
