Lots of personal opinions will vary.....I like it on the quick side! 96+

Standard cuts include eliminating the opening section (blasphemy! they
scream) and starting at the theme, and cutting the middle slow section
right before the 6/8 (oh no.....just a bunch of scales then!).. Eliminate
the repeat in the 3rd variation.

I remember my dad's high school band playing this piece with four
clarinets in unison........sounded like one clarinet! Kind of reminds me
of the Polacca being played by the first clarinet section of the U. of
Mich. band in 1961 and recording it for Vanguard.....very impressive.
They cut out the recitative.......*hopefull look*
