Subj: Performance Notice

For all friends and fans (stop laughing, all of you!), I will be
performing tonight/tomorrow night with the New Mexico State Symphonic
Winds. I will be playing primarily clarinet, but also contralto and
contrabass clarinets as well. Josh Coleman will also be in the group,
strictly clarinet, since it's his specialty (where does he get those
fantastic fingers??)

Performance begins at 8 pm, MST, at the NMSU Music Center Recital Hall.
If you're about the area, and need directions, email me, and I'll get to
you ASAP.

The program will consist of:
Robert Jager - Esprit de Corp
(Woo Hoo! Always a crowd pleaser...)
Percy Grainger - Molly on the Shore
(Yeeeah baybee! Possibly the world's greatest clarinet score.)
Frank Ticheli - Amazing Grace
(Great arrangement...truly clever in every aspect.)
Clare Grundman - A Copland Portrait
(Beef, it's what's for dinner! ... Good Morning, Dave!)
? Giordano - Andrea Chenier
(Look! We can play pianissimo altissimo and make it look fun!)
Clifton Williams - The Ramparts
(sans Men's Choir; Josh's voice would ruin the whole thing.)

Anyways, that's the program. If any of you might be able to make it,
great! Always willing to meet someone from the lists.
