Louis-Auguste Buffet and Hyacinthe Eleanor Klose patented a clarinet
making use of Theobald Boehm's ring-key principle in 1844. Louis-Auguste
had a nephew who set up a shop in Mantes, in 1850. I am not sure of
the nephew's name. Weston's book gives some detail but makes no mention
of an Auguste only Louis-Auguste Buffet.
