Does anyone know of a book or articles on the making and refacing of
clarinet mouthpieces. I have the Eric Brand book which has good basics. I
am interested on relationships of internal measurements, facing changes and
the different "things" to do to a mouthpieces to change (improve?) playing
and tonal qualities, etc.

I realize that there are some great mouthpiece makers who read this list
(Fobes/Pyne/Smith) who might not wish to reveal their secrets! However in
this day of "how to books" there has to be a more efficient way other than
ruining a crate of mouthpieces to discover the "rules" of mouthpieces. No
sense in reinventing the wheel.

Thanks to all!
