I feel your pain! I have been trying to get off this list FOREVER--just too
much mail for me. Unfortunatly, my many requests--some polite, some some
less!--have been COMPLETELY ignored!!!

Subject: Recording; list serv issues

Two things. First, can anyone help me figure out how to take a sound in
my computer's files and put it on cassette tape, so that my son can use
it for a presentation at school without schlepping a Macintosh into the
classroom?

Second, on return from vacation, despite having sent the requisite
message to the listserv address with no subject and the message
"postpone doublereed-l" or "postpone klarinet", I had 224 messages on
line, 209 from those lists. Whither did I go wrong?

I can understand the frustration of the lady on the doublereed list who
sent 22 messages trying to get off the list....fortunately, after a week
with 6 kids at DisneyWald (4 of them under age 5, and happily, only
three of them my own) I have no hair left to tear out.
