If I remember correctly, this is the order that I had my selections
prepared on my Repertoire sheet:

Messiaen "Abyss of the Birds"
Weber "Concertino"

ORCHESTRAL EXCERPTS
Khatchaturian "Violin Concerto," 1st movement
Stravinsky "Firebird Suite"

Mozart "Concerto"
Rose #2 Allegro
#3 Andante Sostenuto

at indiana...& i think U of Mich., they asked sight reading as
well...nothing terribly difficult. just full of weird
accidentals....however, the most important thing about sight reading is
RHYTHM.

Ciao

Just out of curiousity, what did you play for all your auditions?

Thanks!
