Hey ya'll,

BTW- I use to be scm9348@-----.com but I've switched, and the reasons should
be pretty self-explanitory! :) Anyway, I am plagued with problem of a
pad bouncing on my Buffet (I think circa 1990) Prestidge low Eb bass. At
any tempo, a transition from F#/C# to E/B will not come out cleanly because
the F#/C# pad is bouncing. I count 3 bounces, at a slow tempo you can hear
both notes for 1/2 a second and for fast runs the two notes usually aren't
produced. This is probably my own fault as I had my technician lighten up
the action on the pinky keys - the key return was too slow for fast runs,
so I'm hoping its something I can fix myself. I have already tried adding
resistance to the spring - no improvement. Any ideas would be appreciated.
