I attempted to contact Carl Fischer Music in New York City via phone several
weeks ago but to no avail. The phone rang but no answering "machine" (human or
electronic) picked up. Whether they were closed for vacation...or just
closed...is unknown. The number I was given by AT&T is: (212) 677-1148.

I was planning a trip to Manhattan and was able to contact G. Schirmer Music
in New York City. Should anyone be interested, their number is (212) 541-6236.
They are located at 62nd St. and Columbus, across from Lincoln Center.
