Hi, I'm new to this list. I'm a grade 12 student near Windsor, Ontario,
Canada. I've been playing the clarinet for about 6 years and I am looking
for a new clarinet because my current clarinet is old and is in pretty bad
shape (physically and aurally). I've already had repairs done on it
numerous times, and I have decided that it is just a bad clarinet.
Anyway, I don't plan on becoming a professional or persuing a career in
music. I do however plan to keep my playing up. I am merely looking for a
clarinet to use in community wind ensembles, pit orchestras, concert bands
etc. for the next 10-20 years of my life.
I've been looking at a Selmer CL200 which is an intermediate wood
clarinet. Does anyone have advice to offer me?
