I double checked - the 2 spelling errors weren't in that
particular posting (I _do_ misspell "Resources" once in a
great while, and, _ding_, have misspelled URLs in the
past). However, I have published a bit in the distant past,
and articles (and letters to the editor) take a good
long while to polish up (longer than I _ever_ thought when
I wrote the lead article in the "Unix Review" magazine
maybe 10 or 11 years back).

I have been asked to write an article about Sneezy for "The
Clarinet" and will - someday, when my desk is less cluttered
with "things to do" than it is presently.

For those who have never been published - do some original
research, write a good paper, and give it a try. The
remuneration is horrible if you count the hours spent
working, but there's very little to compare to the visceral
thrill when you see your name in a magazine for the first
time! It compares with Dan Leeson's feelings during Brahms,
the Mozart quintet, the Schubert octet, the Reger quintet,
the Hindemith concerto, the Corigliano concerto, etc.

(for the complete reference, search the archives for
"innocence" in the 1996 postings)
