Nope, not at all. No angle change whatsoever. (I teach numerous Flute
students also) And it wasn't Where I squeezed it either that made the
difference.

Maybe the angle at which you were blowing across the opening was
altered when you sqeezed the bottle. This would be like rolling
the headjoint on a flute in order to raise or lower the pitch
on a given note.
