We all know about Bill Brannen and how he does such wonderful things for
clarinets...however much he charges...(was it $500?)...down here, we get
our sticks Pleasantized -- a guy named John Pleasant runs a similar
service down here for about $200. While my horn doesn't have any HORRIBLE
problems, I do have to struggle to get the upper altissimo to speak.

My roommate had the same problem with his R13, and got it Pleasantized.
He says the entire altissimo is disgustingly easy to reach now...I'm
considering having it done to my horn....however...I play a Greenline.

Can a Greenline stick be Brannenized/Pleasantized?
