I heard a live broadcast of Larry Combs/Chicago (from 1984?) that was out
of this world! I also heard him perform it on tour in LA in the late 80's.
Of course having the Chicago brass playing the end of the work doesn't hurt
either. I've been waiting for a recording by Combs of this piece, but it
has not happened. If he had one, I think it would stand up to Drucker's,
and better Stoltzman's effort.
