I have a callous on my thumb from playing soprano clarinet. I wouldn't call
it a bad thing, or is it? By the way...your thumb rest cushion. Is it made
of gold or what? $100? I paid about seventy five cents on mine a few years
ago. Then I kept flinging it across the room during a band festival in my
middle school days. It was kind of neat when I hit the oboe player. (GRIN)
