Hello,
I agree with you about Mr. Kloc, I had the experience of meeting
with him when he was up here, at UNT, about 4 months ago. I am new at
wooden clarinets, only haveing my wooden one for about a year now, and i
had some adjustments that i was not aware that were needed, i had new pads
put on to help deter water on my side keys, and he took down the tenons on
my upper joint. It was amazing, he did a great job and was very nice.
since then i have noticed other problems with my horn, and Mr. Kloc should
be returning to UNT sometime soon, and when he does I hope he can help me
agian. Any of you who can get in contact with him, for repairs, should
because he is very knowledgeable, and will let you know exactly what he
was doing(except of course if you don't want to know, like the time he was
taking down the tenon, and it made tht awful scraping sound and i thought
he was going to break my baby(my horn), i turned my head and tried not too
look :-). )
