I'm sure Ed Lacy has a recipe for this. Let's see:

1. Microwave a pound of lard at high setting for 1 minute ... ;^)

Seriously though, doesn't Pledge contain petroleum distillates. These
are poisonous if taken internally. Would one be putting oneself at
serious risk oiling a clarinet with something like Formby's lemon oil?
or is the distance of the instrument from the mouth (assuming you don't
use it on a wooden mouthpiece) sufficient that there is no significant
danger. Comments from any of the repair techs out there?

Oh yes, is it true that bore oil is what you get when you boil down a
biochemist?
