Ellen Taafe Zwilich: Clarino Quartet (1977)

This fits your item (3) above with a minor squint: Ms. Zwilich originally
wrote this for 4 trumpets, but has prepared a version for 4 clarinets (I
don't know which she prefers, but I played the piece in a concert for her
many years ago and she liked it...).

It's about 15 minutes long, and is published by Margun Music, clarinet
version is #MM48A.

Good luck.
