Mr. Shilcock, In my opinion, you too would be out of line.

My objection to Mr. Martin's original post, and the objections of several
other subscribers, was not to the political character of the post but to
its being posted on Klarinet-L.

I'd like to set one thing straight-I, Garrett Martin, did not post the
statement stirring up this political debate. All I did was ask a question
about the ring and somebody else decided to say something political in their
response. Now my name is on the header of this discussion. If anybody else
decides to comment on this heated debate, please remove my name and "The
Ring" from the header, and title it something more appropriate so that I and
others can simply delete it.
