The piano reduction is published by Samfundet til udgivelse af Dansk Musik
(society for publication-promotion of Danish music) in their 3. SERIE NR. 32
It is generally available--try Eble Music. The reduction has cues for the
important side-drum part. The instructions to the pianist to play these
cues whenever. There is a recording of David Hite and piano reduction
of the concerto. I believe the side-drum cues are played by the pianist.
I have never done it this way--I used a side-drummer with the orchestral
part. If anyone remembers the information on the David Hite LP I would
be grateful for the information.
