Hello!

Thanks for your response to my post!

Just an FYI...Chances are very favorable that I am being accepted by
DePaul according to the admissions director. However, I failed to
understand what you meant about Julie DeRoche.

When I had my audition, it was for her and she was quite good (giving me
a little lesson at the end of my audition as well.) She told me that
most freshmen start with her to get the basic technical stuff out of the
way prior to moving on to John Bruce Yeh or Larry Combs because they
don't tend to focus on that. She said that that isn't a negative
thing...when you think about it, it isn't...because she said that the
department also "shares" students...which I thought was GREAT! They, the
professors, work together, obviously not presenting any type of rivalry.

I dunno...if anything, please expand on

" If you land in Julie DeRoche's studio, you're completely SOL..."
