Given your business and computer science interests, Michigan is
probably the best choice of the options you've listed. Fred
Ormand and Deborah Chodacki teach there -- both of them terrific
people and wonderful teachers. If you're good enough, DePaul is
probably the top clarinet choice among your options -- if and ONLY
if you can get into Larry Combs' or John Yeh's studio. If you
land in Julie DeRoche's studio, you're completely SOL. Typically,
Combs only takes grads, but there have been exceptions. I'm not
familiar with Howard Klug's playing or teaching (Indiana Univ.),
so I can not offer anything in that regard. Best of luck to
