I've tried baffles on Alto Sax, and was not overly impressed. Increasing the
baffle increases the edge, the brightness of the tone but very possibly not
the "bigness".
The mouthpiece/reed set-up has more effect. But the overall shape of your
mouth/throat cavity has the most effect, and that you'll have to live with
always.
