I am truly sorry for the return receipt thing. Somehow this feature was
enabled, but I have since disabled it(I think). My apologies to all who
responded, and thank you for your responses. I'm going to have to get a
recording of it now! Does anybody have any recommendations or favorites?

Garrett Martin
P.S. If anybody is asked for the return receipt again I will die of
humiliation.

Garrett.

I have never, in three years on the Net, been asked for a return receipt
telling the sender that I read an e-mail message. I hope you won't make a
regular practice of it when you post to the list.

You will probably be snowed under with replies to your question. Although I
haven't seen any mentions of The Ring on this list myself, I imagine that
the reference is to the Ring Cycle of operas by Richard Wagner. They are
extremely famous, and musically fascinating, and all musicians, not just
all clarinetists, ought to know about them -- possibly even have heard them.
