I was able to solve the squeaking between register changes by maintaining the
same tongue position throughout all registers. I use the high tongue or
"heee" position...lately experimenting with "peu" which is a little less
"tight." Practice long tones by 5ths, concentrating on this high tongue
position throughout, but especially in the clarion-altissimo leaps. I hope
