Some weeks ago a member of this list posted a message about a technition,
in the mid-West I believe, who could fine tune a student model bass
clarinet to the point it could "challenge" better instruments! He evidently
improved intonation by undercutting tone holes, relieved stuffiness in some
fashion, and enhanced the sound probably by polishing the bore.

I thought I had archived that message...and it may be hidden on my hard
drive. But for the life of me I cannot find it.

Can anyone refer me to that e-mail...or send me a copy?
