Patrick, 100% of my students whom have tried the Optimum have switched to
it (loved it), including me. They work great on Alto Sax also. I previously
played the B&G Traditional Silver.
Thats my 2 cents, and worth every penny.

Subject: Shopping for a new Ligature

hi, everyone,

I am shopping for a new ligature. I saw a few ads for the Vandoren
Optimum (spelling?). I currently have a B&G Revelation. I haven't tried any
ligatures yet. I am looking for a preferably fabric ligature, but would take a
metal one, if it's really good. Any suggestions??? I think the Rovners are
pretty good too, and they are low in price.
