I was there as well, listening to the younger players perform. Wide range
of composers -- some of the performers didn't know who wrote their solos.
But I heard quite a few of Mozart's "lesser known works", as in the ones
everyone plays their sophomore year in High School. I heard the Adagio
from K.622, and I remember saying the same thing -- "Why did he not
improvise?" I now have a completely new idea of Mozart's works -- and if
I am ever allowed (or prepared for that matter!!) to play the Concerto,
K.622, I will remember everything you said at UTEP last week, Dan.
Thanks, welcome back, and thanks for a great presentation.

P.S. BTW Dan, am I still getting married on Tuesday? :) <g>
