I agree w/ Robert--that's the price you'd get here.

But Jason--you have a Mark VI!! They don't make them any more, and you
have one. Properly repaired, it is the last tenor you will ever need.
KEEP IT!

In 1979, I sold my 100% original lacquer Mark VI tenor for $600 so I
could get a Buffet A. The clarinet was a nice horn, and netted me a
tidy profit when I sold it 3 years later. I now have half a dozen
Buffets, but alas no Mark VI. I guess I should have rented the
clarinet.

$3000 may be the "value" of the Mark VI tenor, but only for an
absolutely prime specimen in perfect vintage condition. Jason is
unlikely to get this much on the market and will net less than $2000
from a dealer even for the Perfect Tenor. Life is real and profit keeps
a business running.
