I have only been in my high school's marching band, and concert band, for only
one year. (I am a freshmen) I love marching band. I love concert band too. my
directors place the same amout of emphasis on both concert and marching band.
We start marching 2 weeks before school starts in August, and ends when the
season ends. Nobody complains. We all love it. Marching band teaches us
discipline by making us memorize our music. It isn't easy. When we are done
with the season, we have a big feeling of confidence. We are ready for concert
season.
