Yes, I can see it now. A cheap $5000.00 viola, and it starts to rain ...

Maybe there's plastic violas??

And electric guitars? Marching? Who gets to lug the generator? How
about that 300 watt amp? Or do you have that 200 foot coiled cord
going to the guitar? Back when I played bass for a partial living
I had a 30 foot cord so I could walk down into the audience and
yak with people during particularly boring bass sequences, but
I sure couldn't have marched very far.

C'mon now - this is getting ridiculous! Don't you mean pep band?
