how do u like pictures? my school's wind ensamble is playing it, but
i don't think we play the whole thing. It's also the senior class'
song. anyways, I can't even get a vandoren to sound good, there is no
chance I'm gonna try a synthetic on my alto cl. I just bombed my
first try-out for a regional band. I'm just having a bad weekend. =(
sorry if this is annoying, but everybody is telling me to "just try
harder next time" or "at least you tried" and I really want to
complain to somebody. I can't sight read for my life, there was
absolutely no rhythm there, and i forgot the c sharps. i even played
2 wrong notes on the solo and for a brief 2 seconds, the wrong rhythm.
I let some kids asshole father psych me out, so I got really nervous.
My scales sounded good, but that's only 30 pts of 100, and i know the
judges didn't give me 30's. thanx for hearing me out.
how much are vito alto cl.s worth? I played one yesterday and
absolutely loved it. It sounded soo much better than my selmer and i
want to get one. My school doesn't have a huge budget for this stuff,
so if my parents are gonna buy it, it can't cost too much. I want
one, but am personnally worth about $150 right now, so it's up to the
rents. @-----.
