Hard one! I've really tried on this one.

Born 1906 - that much is in many references, including the Sneezy
Composition Database - but I can't find his death year in any online
necrologies I know of (UT Austin and Washington U) or mentioned in
any other on-line resource (Library of Congress, UofCal, UofM,
Sibelius, various catalogs, more universities, etc.), I don't have
easy access to Slonimsky - can someone with a copy check there?
