I played just that combination this summer for "Barnum." About all you can
do is re-wet them during non-playing time. I also found it useful (lucky?)
to have a bari sax reed that would respond instantaneously without warmup.

Anybody know anything about the show "Grand Hotel?" I was just asked to
play in the pit, but I know nothing about it. I have an impression that
the music is sort of retro, in which case I should like it a lot.
