Robyn,
I once played on one. I've always liked them because they have a
nice, lively, bright sound. However, my style of playing tends to make a
bright mouthpiece be shrill so I don't use it anymore. The rap on them is
that they are (or, at least used to be) extremely inconsistent where
quality control is concerned. When I worked at a specialty clarinet shop
many moons ago, we found that there was no rhyme or reason to their
numbering of mouthpieces. A #13 was closer than a #8 while many 11's and
13's were identical in every way. Hope they have mended their ways since.
