Megan,
C'mon, stop holding out. Play fair and give us some more detailed
information. 1) WHO PUBLISHES THIS COLLECTION???????? Have you contacted
the publisher? What country? E.g., if it's a Canadian company, good bet
the composer's Canadian. 2) What is the instrumentation. 3) What year is
it published? (If it was pre-WW 2 it makes a difference) 4) If you think
the composer is American, have you contacted ASCAP, BMI, the American
Composers' Alliance, etc.? 5) Where are you located? Near any conservatory
where you can ask the librarians to look at those specialized directories
that they usually have, such as Baker's? All this will help us know where
NOT to look (so we don't waste time).
