How about the Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Quintet (the best British quintet
in my opinion. Harold wright did a recording of it with the Hawthorne
String Quartet).
Speaking of British - the quintets of Howells, Arnold Cooke, Machonchy,
Frankel and Holbrooke.
Also Meyerbeer, Baermann, Spohr (Op.34 and Op.81), Busoni (Intoduction
and Elegie).
Also Bernard Hermann (Souvenirs de Voyage) and Quincy Porter.
For the adventurous the three quintets by Morton Feldman.

>I am especially looking for small pieces (5-10 minutes in duration).

Two of the Feldman quintets are 4 minutes each.
For the really adventurous the Magnus Lindberg Quintet.
