Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Syndie and I haven't
played the clarinet in about 15 years. I have an old Selmer Signet B
flat (model 100) that I used when I was in band (way back when). I
decided that I wanted to learn how to play again so I subbed to this list
to learn as much as possible about clarinets. :>

I do have a few questions....

Does anyone know where I can find the value of my clarinet and is it a
good choice for a beginner? I believe Selmer discontinued this model. I
would really appreciate any info on mouthpieces as well since mine needs
to be replaced ASAP. Any recommendations?

I've enjoyed reading the posts on this list and am glad to be here! =)
