Subj: C Clarinets - Kinder v Lyons

Does anyone know anything about either the Kinder or Lyons C clarinets
for beginners (both plastic) - my teacher is thinking of buying one
for beginners with fingers too small for the Bb? Are these any good?
My teacher can buy the Lyons C for around #140.

Is there a better solution for beginners with small fingers (but not
too expensive!) ?
