The recording I have which may be the same is Arabesque Recordings Z6608,
with Shifrin, Golub on piano, and Colin Carr on cello.......just wonderful.
However the Stoltzman/Yo-Yo Ma/Emanuel Ax recording Sony Classical SK 57 499
is stunning. I think it won a Grammy, for whatever that's worth.

If you like Shifrin's playing of the Brahms Trio, he has recorded it - I
believe on the EMI label - with pianist David Golub and cellist Hamilton
Cheifitz (Chamber Music Northwest).
