I, too, have been troubled by some disturbing buzzing. I spent some time
today experimenting with embouchure and was able to find some relief, but
even though the sound was somewhat better, I didn't feel good about what I
was having to do to get that sound.

This evening, I tightened my ligature a little tighter than normal--and the
buzzing disappeared. There's been some advice on this list lately to avoid
over tightening the ligature, but it appears that trouble lurks the other
was as well.
