Birch,
I use that key for my standard chromatic fingering. By keeping the movement
in the same hand for adjacent notes, I find I can play more evenly. Recently
I have been working on the band arrangement of the Tschaikowsky 4 finale and
have found it evens out the F major runs as well. I also use it for trilling
Eb to F, Bb to C. (Trill right hand 2 bottom side keys.) Try it a while and
see if it works for you.
