Well, just to add my 2cents worth..

I have had a little experience with the student models both plastic and wood
as well as their bclt.
They all had one thing in common..very precise feeling key work.
They felt very smooth and very..sharp and defined response quite a different
from the buffets which tend to hv a softer touch.
They feel slightly heavier though..
