Trying to find the "perfect reed"? IMO there is a better solution than
many of the suggestions posted recently. I have had much success with
finding several excellent reeds in a box - by using the new Grand
Concert Select Reeds from Rico. Marcus Eley and other folks at Rico have
been redefining reed quality the past few years and their new design is
a much better quality product. At least they work for me!

FYI Rico, Inc. now is the conglomerate that owns Boosey & Hawkes, maker
of Buffet clarinets.

Avrahm - keep those wonderful stories coming. The last line in the
Marcellus story is a hoot!

Regards to all.
