my favorite example of his soprano playing is warm canto which is on a mal
waldron lp called the quest.

there are a few other examples of his soprano playing, he played quite a
bit with chico hamilton though mostly secton parts.

what i was reffering to was the trio he had with baul bley and steve
swallow, which in my opinion would be considered somewhat experimental
particularly on the carla bley peices. also his thrid stream stuff. im not
as familar with his playing prior to that period.
