First of all, I wanted to take the time to thank all of you who
responded...it really helped!

I've recently went to the Woodwind and Brasswind catalog (on-line) as
many of you suggested, and found some very interesting prices....one in
particular was a Buffet EVE11 that was only used for 3 months for
$439.00. The only thing I'm not sure about is if it is wood (it didn't
specify). Another I found was a Selmer CL6 (specified wood) that was
said to have no cracks with good pads. It also said that it was an old
model 9 (is that bad?) for $695.00. I have yet to go to selmer's site
and yamaha's site, but will be going this afternoon. Do any of these
sound good?
