As I write this, I'm using Pine. The commands you are looking for are
<Ctrl P> for "previous line," and <Ctrl K> for "cut ('kut') this line.
At the bottom of your Pine screen, there should be a list of commands.
One of them is "help." It lists all the commands of this type.
