I wouldn't be so hasty as to make that judgemant about Noblets. I've never
had a problem with them. For a while I played on a Noblet Eb and it was a
fine instrument. Noblet has been making instruments since 1700s. If they
were bad, they wouldn't have been able to stay in existence. All instruments
are different. Sometimes an R-13 or an Opus can be worse sounding than
intermediate or student models. You must always audition several models of
different brands to find out what works for you best.
