Yes they do ship overseas-- at least they list that on their order blank.
Not that I've tried it - I live in ~200 miles away. I've visited the store
also... it's not that impressive at 1st but then I noted the line of >15
tubas a long the back wall and we asked about clarinets ( my wife plays )
four or five hours later and after trying five brands of high end
clarinets she had to choose from amongst the three of the one brand/model
she liked best--they would of brought more out if we had asked. It is a
great place to try out different brands and models side by side. She tried:
Buffet R-13, wood and greenline ( we could tell the difference-- the wood
was better) , Leblanc Opus & Concerto ( bought the Opus), Peter Eaton
almost bought also-- will in the future), Amati, Patricola and wish now we
had tried the
Rossi clarinets ( but which wood??? ). Could have tried
Yamaha as well and they claim they will get other brands not listed in the
catalog. In the catalog they have nine pages of clarinets; nine pages of
clarinet mouthpieces/barrels; two pages of clarinet ligatures ( and more
mixed in the saxophone ligature section); six pages of mixed clarinet and
sax reeds; three pages of reed: holders, trimmers, meters & cases; three
pages of clarinet: cases, stands, straps & case covers; three pages of music
stands ... The woodwind catalog covers: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe &
bassoon in ~ 160 pages. They also have catalogs on: Brasswind; Drums;
Strings; Rock; General Music; and Music software and MIDI.
This sounds like an ad..... sorry- I just meant to get the address out
