My apologies to the list for being so California-centric. As soon as I
visited the web site referenced in one of the related messages, I
realized that I was going to get a lot of flack for my mistake.

Steve is an excellent repair person. The e-flat that I bought from him
was his personal instrument and is a wonderful clarinet. He does gold
and silver plating, and this instrument was newly plated and completely
overhauled. It plays wonderfully. It is a Buffet R-13 and has the
sound qualities of a b-flat soprano. Everyone who hears this eefer
can't believe how good it sounds. (If you don't believe me, ask Trudi
Wreede, who recently posted a message to the list.)
